Is your head in the diet game?

body believesHey everyone! I’m back trying to keep up my end of the bargain by sharing what I go through to start getting into shape.  I heard crickets this week when I reached out to my “people”.  You all know who you are so get On It!

There are a series of tips, tricks, I dare say hacks (I really do not subscribe to the use of this term for tips, but it seems EVERYBODY else does, so whatever, but I digress) that I use to get motivated and in gear to get into shape.

I really want to compile this list of tips as there are a great many things that I do that I just take for granted and they really do help.  But, you all need to let me know if that is something you would be interested in me sharing.

One of the very first things I do is figure out how to get my head in the game.

The body will do only what the mind will allow.  Hey, that’s not it. What’s that phrase? Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve. – Napoleon Hill

We know Napoleon Hill, from Think and Grow Rich!  I don’t know about you, but my Mom gave this to us to read when we were kids.  Great book!  Read it if you get the chance.

It is so easy to have false starts when trying to buckle down and lose weight.  You know what I’m talking about.  We are all gung ho the first week and then when reality sets in, and chocolate presents itself, we fall of the proverbial wagon.

It happens to the best of us.  Really, it does.  The thing is, the folks that succeed are the ones that don’t let these little setbacks define them.

You have to dust yourself off, pick yourself up and try again. I always say one meal at a time.  That means that we can make a change within the short term and get ourselves back on track.  Not next Sunday or Monday or next month I’ll start my diet again. NO! The very next meal is your next, best opportunity.

Here’s the thing.  Nothing will happen until you make up your mind that you want it badly enough to do what it takes to achieve your goal. This is true for anything in life.

You have got to make the commitment first.  I mean go ALL IN. Once you make that commitment, then you can work towards finding ways to honor it and yourself.

So what do I do to get the party started?

  1. Take a good look at myself (REALLY GOOD HONEST LOOK)
  2. Assess my relationship with food
  3. Start cleaning out the pantry, fridge & freezer
  4. Start swapping out the offensive foods for healthier choices
  5. COMMIT TO yourself, FOR yourself
  6. Tell the spouse, SO, close friends, family

These are a good start toward getting the brain engaged for the task at hand.  It’s not easy to change our bad habits and lose weight. If we have to psych ourselves into it somehow, I say, the end justifies the means.

Chew on that, hah! a little while and let me know. . .is your mind prepared for the challenge?

make it happen

Always,

MMM

  2. Alright SlotomaniaSlots fans! I’ve been spinning those reels for ages and gotta say, the graphics are slick and the payouts…well, sometimes they’re generous. But hey, that’s gambling, right? Worth a shot for some fun and a chance at a win. Check it out here: slotomaniaslots

  4. This mindset-first approach is brilliant! The mental game determines success in any endeavor. Building that internal foundation before taking action is key. Napoleon Hill’s wisdom applies universally, even when evaluating phkkk legit platforms for responsible recreation.

  5. Interesting analysis! Transparency in gaming mechanics is huge – builds trust. Seeing platforms like jilliph online casino focus on localized payment options (GCash, PayMaya) is smart for the Philippine market too. Great points!

  6. Great points on the mindset aspect! In my work at 588jl casino, I see how mental discipline directly impacts behavior patterns – your body really does follow your mind’s lead. The Napoleon Hill reference is spot on. That consistency factor you mentioned? It’s everything. Those who succeed in any goal aren’t the ones who never stumble, but the ones who get back on track immediately. Small setbacks are just data points, not definitions.

  7. Z777game has some pretty sweet bonuses and promotions going on. Been able to stretch my bankroll a little further thanks to them. Worth looking into if you’re after some extra value at z777game!

  8. Just discovered Strayjuego, and it’s got a surprisingly good mix of games. I’m always on the lookout for new places to play, and this one’s definitely on my radar now. Check it out at strayjuego!

  9. Downloaded the PKRbetapp the other day, and it’s pretty slick. Placing bets on the go is now way easier. If you’re into mobile betting, I recommend giving it a download at pkrbetapp!

  10. Just tried mp66nohu, and gotta say, it’s pretty slick! Loads fast and the games are fun. Worth checking out if you’re looking for something new. Check it out here: mp66nohu

  11. Fascinating to see how regulated platforms like JollyPh are shaping the Philippine iGaming landscape! Security & transparency are key-especially with things like KYC. Enjoy a jollyph game responsibly, and appreciate the effort towards fair play! It’s a smart evolution.

  12. Really interesting read! The social aspect of online gaming is huge – connecting with others elevates the fun. Thinking of trying out maya games app casino – heard good things about their platform in the Philippines! Seems user-friendly too.

  13. Interesting points about bankroll management! Seeing platforms like PH8 cater to the Philippine market with a smooth ph8 app download apk is smart. Account verification is key for trust, too – good to see them prioritizing that!

  14. The mindset piece is crucial! Napoleon Hill’s principle applies perfectly to fitness – the mind must lead before the body follows. In gaming psychology, we see similar patterns: success comes from mental resilience, not just initial enthusiasm. Just like strategic players on Jilislot maintain discipline through variance, fitness winners bounce back from setbacks without letting derailments define their journey.
